Which #HEX editor do you guys recommend using on which platform? Is there any app that works on all three? (#Linux, #macOS, #Windows)

Don't really need anything too fancy, also don't mind paying for a really well supported and quality app.

I've been looking at 010 (https://www.sweetscape.com/010editor) as well as HexEd.it. First one seems really powerful, but not sure I need that to edit bios and EC firmware files. Second is a web app with all due limits.

What’s your favorite #HexEditor on #Linux? 🤔

I can’t seem to find one with a good balance between “simple”, “able to interpret these 4 bytes as i32”, and “pulls in half of KDE/Gnome/Mono as a dependency”. 🤔

So far, I’m mostly using hexedit. (Some 20, 30 years ago, I used “Hex Workshop” on Windows. That was nice.)
