It does not feel very chill to just leave those as they also contain kernel upgrades etc.
After having used #docker_swarm for many years for my private business server, it's time to say goodbye. With a little reluctance, since it has served me really well. I have always loved Docker Swarm for its simplicity and ease of use for small projects or even small businesses.
Now I'm moving on — first idea is managed #Kubernetes using #hetznerk3s, why:
* Cloud-based in Europe.
* Really good cost-benefit ratio.
Anyone else using this? Recommendations, experiences?
hetzner-k3s v2.4.4 is out! 🍾 For those not familiar with it, it's by far the easiest way to set up cheap Kubernetes on Hetzner Cloud. The tool is open source and free to use, so you only pay for the infrastructure you use. This new version improves network requests handling when talking to the Hetzner Cloud API, as well as the custom local firewall setup for large clusters.
