Chiel G, NeveleI have been talking about this book to many of my friends over the years but the English translation has been out of print since 1989. Finally I found an affordable copy of J.Bernlefs Dutch classic online at a second hand #bookshop in Boston. Not even the biggest of surprises since the story takes place in #Massachusetts. And got it delivered here in #melbourne
But now others will have to read it, because I want to discuss this book with the people here in #australia that didn't grow up with this book on their high school reading lists. And the book is certainly a better read once you get a few years older than you were in highschool.
