Eugenio Chacarra has boldly claimed he is “one of the best players in the world” after claiming his first DP World Tour title at the Hero Indian Open on Sunday. The Spanish golfer only participated at the event in Gurgaon, India, after receiving an invite from his sponsor. But he overcame a miserable start to the tournament to finish top of the pile and claim his first title on the DP World Tour, putting him in contention to land a PGA Tour slot.The 25-year-old was top of the leaderboard heading into the last day, only to double-bogey the first hole.
