Good morning - I've updated our profile so it's time for another Volunteers Wanted post!

Right now we are in search of all roles (More here: https://volunteernow.volunteerfairfax.org/custom/1427/opp_details/191304 )

But in particular we would really like a knife sharpener! Do you know someone who would be willing to come out to Great Falls Library to help us with this? Please send them our way!

Knife sharpening typically runs from 10:30am to 12pm at our Cafe - if you're ready to pack up and leave at/after 12pm, you're welcome to do so. We also invite our volunteers to come early, at 10am, to have time to set up before doors open, but that's not a requirement.

Knife sharpening is our most popular service at Repair Cafes. We've had volunteers who have worked on machines with sanding belts, as well as ones that have worked with whetstones - we're not picky, if it works for you, it works for us.
