This afternoon we held a #HeritageOpenDays event in the park. Because the park is always open, we had a special event - a talk on the former swimming pool. A gentleman came who lived next to the park during WW2! He had lots to say about the pool. We were also visited by local cat - Pebbles - who roams far and wide, he has a tracker after going missing for days at a time. He now has his own Facebook profile as he's so well known!

Welp we had a weekend of #HeritageOpenDays trips planned but that was before my uncle was sent home from hosp with weeks to live and we made an almost impromptu flying visit to Devon to see him, and the weather decided to throw a wobbly this weekend and make travel and building appreciating pretty unappealing, so we're both knackered from yday's trip and a day behind on stuff plus I haven't visited Mum in the care home since Weds. So much illness and looming death just now 😦
