I am wondering if anybody has done any interesting data #visualization on #heptathlon and #decathlon results or scoring. It's a high-dimensional space, but I suspect there is a low-dimensional space hiding within it, as the most successful athletes converge on a small number of different training strategies, or correlated skills.
