Henderika is Selina Heyligers-Hare, a singer-songwriter based in Yukon, Canada, who plays in a style that combines folk with some straight-up rock with a bluesy, heartland feel. It is a classic sound from both angles, where the West Coast influence is palpable on the folk side while the rock side tends towards the big and massive style that was prominent in the '80s and the '90s. Complementing that is her powerful voice that bursts out on her rock highs, then scales down for her quieter ballads, giving them more body. Her debut EP I Can't Remember (2024) finds her leaping forward on both production and songwriting fronts.
