Jeg tester lidt videre med #MeshCore. Har nu kørt en lille repeater op på Islandsbrygge (netlog repeater Islandsbrygge) og lavet en room server (Netlogon Chat Room). Det kunne være sjov hvis nogen i nærheden af #islandsbrygge vil lege med.

After doing some research on why this radio is misbehaving, I found https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hn1dNZevs8Y where they demonstrate the issue I was running into with the Heltec V3.

(Wish I would have found this before I picked up the radios, but it is what it is.)

Anyway, got an update published on the post with this new information.

Es ist ja schon erschreckend, wie viel Zeit ich aufgewendet habe, um den #heltec #t114 amazon kit
- mit Displayschutz
- mit dickerem Akku
in einem Case zu verbauen, das nicht passt.

✅backcase dicker gemacht damit akku passt
✅frontcase umdesigned damit heltec mit displayschutz passt und entsprechend den bildschirmausschnitt verschoben und buttons angepasst
✅clipcase umdesignes für insgesamt dickeres case

It's been sitting outside for 4 (sunny) days and the battery has always been between 87 and 91%.

The battery doesn't charge beyond 4.05V (91%), but that's more like a bug, than a real issue.

in addition playing around with #meshtastic to build an alternative communication option. 1st device: #heltec #Meshpocket - not to successful yet. Trying to use #meshhessen #mqtt channel as nearby no nodes available. Waiting for a roof-top node to increase radius for me. Any #meshtastic users in the #fediverse ?

I built a stealth #meshtastic solar node using a #Heltec T114 and a hardware store #solar lamp.

Currently testing if the panel provides enough current to charge the battery and run the Heltec.
