More progress here, feel pretty good about where the goop is at, still doing some puzzling about the teeth and tongue. The obvious choice with the teeth is blood and/or brown/yellow staining, but I sort of like the idea that since it's more of a spirit creature, the teeth are clean and maybe even highlighted up to look like they're glowing?

Fun aside: I often ask my Partner for her opinion on things that I'm pondering, since she is generally smarter and more objective, but she refused here on the basis of "it has too many eyes and I don't want to look at it" so I suppose that's a win for creep factor.

After a lot of delay, like more than a year, I've finally started putting a brush to Alucard.

I'm not sure exactly what has kept me from starting for so long. Maybe just uncertainty about my approach to the colors? I've decided it's just going to be a bunch of red really. Getting very intimate with red. And some black and white.

Also I should have started sooner because it's going to take foreevvveeerrr, especially with the way I paint.
