Chara Aznable (they/them) of PnictogenI finished #BioShock (again) last night and have gotten a decent start on the second, which I recall as having a somewhat more engaging (if not particularly deep) story. Honestly... there's something about Eleanor Lamb continuing by choice to regard Delta as her father, even in full consciousness of the true nature of their bond with each other, that speaks powerfully to me, and then there's the scarifying portrayal of the Little Sisters' dissociative state.
There is a #fictive introject in our headspace, mostly dormant and too badly hurt to feel like speaking or interacting for the time being, whom I hope will get something out of seeing that part of BioShock 2.
I remain amused by the #FateStayNight AMV “I need a Shirou” that’s out there (in at least two versions). Apart from appreciating the pun in the title, it DOES draw footage from all three #FSN versions - and you can definitely tell when it’s pulling from #heavensFeel (Fate has rarely looked so good on screen)
Also: Rider is an ABSOLUTE sweety in #EmiyaGohan
The thing is, it’s not that far off from her characterisation in the #FateStayNight #HeavensFeel movies
@DakkiReads @Cyberpreppy I would have said best girl but then I saw #UnlimitedBladeWorks and Rin is just FABULOUS in that. Sakura improved immensely when we got the #HeavensFeel movies but not enough to compete.
Mr. MeI finished Heaven's Feel just now. It was extremely satisfying and the ending felt like the most earned ending of all three routes. It also did the impossible and made me really like Kirei as a character. And now I finally know where all of those mapo tofu memes come from.
I kind of want to buy the movies, now.
I swear #HeavensFeel was the version of #FateStayNight that remained truest to the original game (#IfYouKnowYouKnow) but it was #fate_kaleid_liner_prisma_illya that I felt the most creeped out by.
