There's a tiny detail in the first episode of #Heartstopper that I really love.

After accidentally drawing on Charlie's hand, Nick turns the mark into a smiley face.

Later on, when Charlie is with Ben, it's clearly visible on his hand. And it's almost like it's a protective sigil, or an inoculation; Charlie suddenly realises that his 'relationship' with Ben is toxic and needs to end.
