How Wraparound Care Will Ease the Diabetes Crisis

Diabetes is a leading cause of preventable death in the United States, and shows no signs of slowing. A recent study estimates that the number of people worldwide with diabetes will more than double in the next three decades, reaching 1.3 billion by 2050. Ensuring access to more affordable medications, improved technologies, and inclusive, whole-person care is critical for managing, and even preventing, this disease. In this panel, hear how Amazon Pharmacy, One Medical and Insulet are re-envisioning care—from the clinic to the home–to support patients throughout their care journey.

T1 : too many human made barriers designed to limit delivery of care with too little incentive to fix the system. The system is working for those at the top. And the biggest barrier is the patriarchal imposed control over our bodies and our health. #hcldr

So @cvspharmacy and @Cigna return to old habits
Forget any notion of #pharma "reducing" price of #diabetes drugs
This evening
@costplusdrugs want $7.50 @CVSHealth want $111.56
That's almost 1500% markup!
The other drug $8.40 but CVS $64.71
770% Markup
Explain that!
