Los Aparecidos.
Los vieron aparecer, como espíritus luminosos en la penumbra del anochecer.
Eran jóvenes y se reían del frío. Porque sentían la caricia de sus Levi’s.
Suaves como la claridad de las estrellas.
Y cálidos como el resplandor de una fogata.
Los aparecidos estaban poseídos por la mágica alegría de vivir. Poseían a Levi’s.
Y cantaban.
Pero la gente gris -la que cree que la alegría no es de este mundo- no supo entenderlos. «Fantasmas…” murmuraron los grises.
Y cerraron sus puertas con candado.
Los aparecidos no los vieron. Porque ya habían desaparecido, cantando, en la noche. Abrigados por el hechizo de sus Levi’s.

It seems he could choose whom to 'sit' with. And instead of choosing like for instance the crowd-pleaser Marilyn Monroe, he wanted to be with the comic actors (from the old days) he related himself too, and got inspired by...so he never wanted to be a star in the Hollywood-sense of the word.
