Why do we have to have hardware? I want my things to run without. One thing less that can break.

Thought brought to you by not one, not two, but three (yes, three) mini pc thingies breaking at nearly the same time (same evening). DAMN HARDWARE.

Now my home automation runs via a VM on my laptop, until new hardware finds its way to me.

At least homeassistant is halfway easy to move around, restore backup and done, only lost a little data in one of the addons since last backup (daily, pushed into nextcloud).
