Eg er styggeleg heldig og har tilgang på to gode hardingfeler. Til venstre ei Kristian Undlien-fele frå 1971. Undlien var felemakar frå Etnedal, eg veit ikkje meir om han. Fela læt stort og fyldig, eit flott instrument. Til høgre ei fele som oldefar min, Søren Ødegård, bygde i 1925. Oldefar bygde mange feler, og celloar! Ho læt litt spinklare, men klårt og reint. Dei er gode på kvar sitt vis. #hardingfele #fele #folkemusikk

Last week I reached Level III in a #Tracker Certification North America field evaluation, played #hardingfele for #SyttendeMai, and gave a presentation on #wildlife data gathered from tracks, sign, and camera images on my land.

The day after all that, I rested.

Today I had a long-overdue eye exam at a clinic three blocks from my first apartment in #Seattle, followed by #oysters.

Other than having a cold for all of that, it was a pretty outstanding week...
