I boosted a wonderful photo of Mary Lou Williams just now, one of my favourite piano players. Mary Lou's playing is so joyous. Just makes me feel happy. I thought I'd toot this clip from 1978 (31 years after the photo) and just 3 years before they left this planet. With Mary Lou is the all time great Jo Jones on drums, hard not to smile all the way through the wonderful drum solo. Ronnie Boykins, Sun Ra's long time bassist too!
