I used a old canvas of mine from 20 years ago to make this collage. You can’t see much if it now, but good background colors. I’ve got so many art supplies that I am just trying to use up! I’m focused on all my scraps and trying to reuse/repurpose all the old pieces I never finished or never really liked. Like spring, it is a period of rebirth for these forgotten treasures! 😂

Saturday, January 3rd 1987 at CBGBs. Probably one of the most consequential shows I ever attended. I was already a fan of Atomizer but was unprepared for this epic lineup. I like to think that this bill shook much of the NYC scene out of the remnants of its paisley underground stupor. Rest in noise, Steve.
