AGI/Vista - Make wine, not war", "Fate il vino, non la guerra" è il messaggio di pace al centro del flash mob organizzato dai giovani della COLDIRETTI al Vinitaly. I ragazzi, molti dei quali viticoltori, hanno esibito cartelli a Casa COLDIRETTI e hanno distribuito spillette ai visitatori presenti. Proprio per la cultura che l'Italia rappresenta, i giovani di COLDIRETTI vogliono così essere promotori di un messaggio di pace, ribadendo il valore di fratellanza insito in ognuno di noi. Un'iniziativa pensata anche per ribadire il fatto che, come sottolinea l'organizzazione agricola, "la sovranità dell'Europa passa dalla difesa della sua produzione alimentare e non dal riarmo. Si stanno spendendo migliaia di miliardi per gli armamenti mentre si mette a rischio la sicurezza alimentare. Ma senza cibo non c'è sicurezza". Al flash mob era presente anche il Commissario Europeo all'Agricoltura Christophe Hansen, a Casa COLDIRETTI per un confronto sulle urgenze e le sfide dell'agricoltura italiana ed europea con il presidente Ettore Prandini e il segretario generale Vincenzo Gesmundo. Hansen, fa sapere COLDIRETTI, ha tenuto ad appuntarsi sulla giacca la spilla "Make wine, not war". L'incontro tra il Commissario e i vertici COLDIRETTI ha abbracciato vari temi: la revisione della direttiva nitrati e l'utilizzo del digestato, alternativa concreta ai fertilizzanti chimici per ridurre la dipendenza dall'estero; l'obbligo dell'etichetta d'origine su tutti gli alimenti in commercio nell'Unione Europea; la nuova Pac; lo stoccaggio alimentare. “Make wine, not war,” “Fate il vino, non la guerra” is the message of peace at the center of the flash mob organized by the young people of COLDIRETTI at Vinitaly. The boys, many of whom are winemakers, displayed signs at Casa COLDIRETTI and distributed buttons to the visitors present. Precisely because of the culture that Italy represents, the young people of COLDIRETTI want to be promoters of a message of peace, reaffirming the value of brotherhood inherent in each of us. An initiative also designed to reiterate that, as the agricultural organization points out, “Europe’s sovereignty passes through the defense of its food production and not through rearmament. Thousands of billions are being spent on weapons while food security is at risk. But without food there is no security.” European Commissioner for Agriculture Christophe Hansen was also present at the flash mob, at Casa COLDIRETTI for a discussion on the urgencies and challenges of Italian and European agriculture with President Ettore Prandini and General Secretary Vincenzo Gesmundo. Hansen, COLDIRETTI informs us, took the “Make wine, not war” button to pin on his jacket.
