I AndanomNu är äntligen väskan med mitt första sashiko-broderi färdig!
Och jag vill nog ödmjukt erkänna att jag är väldigt nöjd med det. Både broderiet som sådant och väskan i sig. Det kommer bli en favoritväska, både broderiet och inredningen blev ju precis som jag ville!
Jag använde en mall för att få grundmönstret rätt men de fritt flygande blommorna är mitt eget påhitt.
Yttertyget är en gammal spillbit av demin som jag hade i mina gömmor. (En stor spillbit, jag har någon meter kvar!) och insidan är ett också en stuvbit, av tryckt bomull.

Now the bag with my first sashiko embroidery is finally finished!
And I’ll humbly admit that I’m very pleased with it—both the embroidery itself and the bag as a whole. I think it’s going to become a favorite; both the embroidery and the interior is exactly how I imagine it would be.
I used a template to get the basic pattern right, but the freely scattered flowers are my own design.
The outer fabric is an old leftover piece of denim I had in my stash (a big piece—I still have about a meter left!), and the lining is also a remnant, made from printed cotton.
