I've been spending the majority of my day studying fermentation in multiple areas to help support gut-health and hopefully finding a few beverages that is better than soda for the weekends. Also been researching seitan and tofu recipies in the hopes of finding a protein source kiddo can eat since meat only works in jerky-form r.n. (kiddo's ARFID).
Bit at the end of the day, I got to sit down with a nice cup of coffee and an audiobook while knitting 🥰
I will very soon have to start spindling again. The brown åsenwool needs refilling. The white leicester will last the entire pattern thankfully 🥰

I baked bread and made a big batch of food so I don't have to worry bout lunch tomorrow. Then I wanted to knit but the cat had stolen my knitting 😅 I finally got it back when I fed the cats around 9pm. So I have managed a few rows today at least 🤣

After a day of cooking and cleaning and helping out a neighbor, I am finally sat on the couch knitting after a warm comfortable dinner.
Progress is rather slow for being me but I am actively taking my time. Slowing down the process to really enjoy the feel of my yarn becoming this sweater. 🥰

My scarf is growing steadily. I'm about 60% done and I am getting a little worried about blocking this thing when it's done. It stretches about 1/3 of it's length as it is now. Which indicated it's gonna stretch even more in wet condition 😅 I wonder how many laps around my neck it will reach 🤣

FanCityKnits 🇺🇦🧶Planning my next project - I had 3 different yarns in mind with general ideas what to turn them into, but so far not really decided on the pattern.
When shuffling through the boxes of handspun yarn I found some 3ply dyed on a grey base yarn - 2 skeins, in total about 800 m
I picked https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/s11175-loucinda-shirt - but it's going to be a slipover, not a warm weather garment. And as my gauge is 22 instead of 26 sts, I work size S to get an L
Today after finishing kiddos sweater we got a package from a friend in Italy. We got lots of lovely yummies and spreads and olives. And after sampling, cooking and talking with my friend over texts, I am now sitting down to continue on with my "leaflette"-scarf while watching Netflix with kiddo.

Spent my morning hours with kiddo in the pull out. We're both a bit under the weather 😅 Didnt help that I had to frog half the neckwarmer yesterday due to calculation error and I miiight just frog half of what is left since I am not happy with the bubbles. Might leave it. Might not. Still deciding. In the mean time I am washing my åsenwool skein and hanging it to dry. Working on if I need to buy a new set of 5,5 needles to start my sweater or if I can manage to get my hand on a pair from a friend. We'll see.😊
