And now I’m going to look at the last of the cercopithecine primates that I have in my collection, the hamadryas baboon Papio hamadryas. As a side note, it appears that the binomial names of my two Toymany baboon figures are based off mythology (Anubis is of course an Egyptian god, and Hamadryas is a Greek dryad-nymph) but I have no idea why, just a thing I noticed.
