Well what do you know – The Electronics Flea Market (EFM) has moved back to Saturday mornings and if you park in lot 2 it is free. Looks as we get to share the campus with the farmer’s market, so I get to peruse fruit & veg for the week and get my nerd on. Hopefully I will find another security appliance from a vendor I do not have yet for my test rack in the garage.

I should add to my previous post: If you want to learn #CW enroll for the #CWAcademy. I cannot recommend enough how useful the course is to teach you CW, how to make QSOs, and in the process introduce you to a whole crowd of new friends with the same interests.There are different levels depending on your starting point. Step 1 on the #qrp_labs #qmx+ done! All 12 diodes in place. Since last post I've bought some snips which have let me solve the problem of the #solder coming too high off the board and bridging to the metal case. I've also bought a desoldering pump which is extremely useful! There were some very close proximity pads, but nothing has shorted electrically that couldn't be removed and redone. I hope this is the right place to ask, but there is this TV/Radio antennae plug in our Den - Unfortunately it looks like someone cut the line where it comes out of the house near the old TV antennae mast. Any suggestions on fixing/leveraging this for DTV and/or FM antennae for my component stereo setup that I am planning to put back up? The lower plug on that faceplate is so dam weird..

It appears to be ladderline wiring inside - do I reconnect and use for a FM or Ham radio, or do I use it to pull through some COAX & CAT6 to connect the DTV & FM antennae? 🤔

EDIT: I pulled the faceplate and plug off, and it is ladder line inside. The plug is a Wineguard model T32-U which only had the TV/FM connected the lower UHF plug was disconnected - and neither had the ground connected.
