The hairy-legged mining bee digs a new up to 60 cm deep tunnel each day and fills it with about 300 mg pollen.

Die Hosenbiene hat hier die Hosen an auf der Kornblume. Sie kann bis zu 40mg Pollen mit ihrer Hose transportieren. Die Pollen bringt sie bis zu 10 mal pro Tag in ein bis zu 60 cm tiefes Brutloch, dass sie in Sandboden buddelt. Jeden Tag baut sie so eine Brutzelle.
