Today was a nice day off. I played music with Rev. Rick and booked him for Blues Fest. Read and napped. And now it's almost time for northernlights and The Lispy Gopher Show on aNONradio.

Once again, Monday, my day off, not so much. Looks like Tuesday will be my real day off again. Today I'm going to order the ribs and butts, help Robin and Jerry with some minor repairs to their house, visit Rev. Rick and record some music, swim ???, read, and rest. So, not exactly a day off. Still, it should be enjoyable.

Went to Union Grove Methodist Church this morning to play guitar and piano while their pianist is recuperating. Took some more ribs and butts orders and donations for the Fix The Bus fundraiser at both churches. Today is the last day so I'm tallying it all up and will make the order this afternoon. This has been another successful fundraiser, so far, with our orders exceeding our goal.

I'm having trouble adjusting to my vacation weekends while I'm not producing Something Blue shows. I still have the push to get it done but a lot less work to do. Today I'm going to practice piano, read, and rest. I have a gig with James Carvell tonight at Stage Too, Main and Monroe in Jonesboro, at 6:00 PM.

Friday. I'm up early. aNONradio. Make my shows. Backup the server. Chat with the DJs during Dubious Goals Committee and Something Blue. Sell some butts. Or ribs. But I have high hopes for two butts. Practice piano. Gig tomorrow. Session Sunday.

Another day off because our food pickup is tomorrow. Check out my new #jazz #blues #fusion music post. Today I want to work on the soundbox for my front yard 'piano plate and strings' playable sculpture. Listen to the Delta Blues Aces recordings from New Jazz In Jonesboro. Work on the liner notes for The Arkansawyers album. And then, on anonradio, northernlights at 6:00 Central followed by The Lispy Gopher Show at 7:00.

It's been a day. Worked on Blues Fest and the KASU Arkansas Roots Stage at the Beatles At The Ridge Festival. Went to church. Took orders for our Fix The Bus ribs and butts fundraiser. Came home and worked on the fundraiser. Went to game day at the church and we visited and played Munchkins. Came home and recorded #jazz #blues #fusion. Great quartet tonight.
