Deceptively Hot Mango Habanero sauce.

The red snippets are not bell pepper but a red habanero, of course.

The deception is in the fact that the sauce itself contains mango but also mango-colored habanero lemon in roughly equal amounts.

Ich habe mich dieses jahr nicht so gut um meine #chilis gekümmert, deshalb gibt es wohl jetzt erst die erste #ernte. Ich habe 2 #habanero pflanzen, habanero white und choclat. Sie sollen beide noch schärfer sein als die "normale" habanero und die dunkle sorte soll nach dem trocknen ein schokoladiges aroma haben.
Ich bin ja mal gespannt, ob ich davon noch was schmecke. Ausprobieren...

Pierwsze zbiory! 🌶️ Jeszcze nie urosły do końca, ale ten owoc habanero orange pękł i bałem się, że się zepsuje, więc zebrałem na spróbowanie. I smakuje :) Mi, rodzice mniej zachwyceni.

Habanero nawet taka mała miała w sobie trochę ognia 🔥

[3/3] the salsa is ready... I made a batch with mango/habañero (pictured) and it is so spicy that I'm all sweaty and a bit nauseous... it's not like "only a real pepperhead can handle this" spicy, it's more like "medically dangerous levels of capsaicin" spicy... but I'll live... maybe...
