I bought new gym clothes about a week ago at a Nike discount shop because the stuff I wore to the gym last year no longer fits. I didn’t realize until midweek that a pair of leggings had a little zipper on the waistband right across my spine. I don’t understand why this design has persisted. It’s such an awful placement for a zipper. If you ever try to do a sit-up or even sit back in a chair, the zipper gouges into your spine. Fortunately, I still had the receipt. But when I took it back, there was nothing in my size. Almost everything there was sized XS. Oy. At least I got my money back.
This reminds me… I had to go to the mall a while back. It was my first time there in about a year. There’s a Lululemon shop there, and it had a nightclub-style lineup going on. I will never understand the appeal. The clothes look ok, but I don’t think they look any better than any other brand. They’re about four times as expensive as comparable name brands elsewhere. Why is this so popular? Is it a status thing? #GymClothes #lululemon #BrandLoyalty
