There is a new major #food #scandal in #China

After the #地沟油 #gutteroil & the 2008 melamine-contaminated #baby #formula scandal, a new #foodsafety #problem was discovered.

A state-owned company used the same #tankers to transport cooking oil & fuel. To safe costs, without a cleaning in between.

As the news spread via #Beijing #News & #Weibo, the government started a major censorship campaign.

Why I had stopped, and will continue to stop, buying #bread from #Breadtalk ever since they were caught red-handed using gutter oil (!) some ten years ago.
