Gus the Cat
Hobbies include:
Spying on the neighbourhood
Plotting vendettas
Licking water droplets
Stalking bugs
Being a snuggly wittle guy
Tripping up the stairs because he's running faster than the speed of sound
Pretending he didn't trip up the stairs after he does
Ongoing and perpetual parkour
We thought Gus had escaped due to fear of the sudden very large heavy equipment use outside our house this morning. We looked for him in every closet, nook, cranny and hidey hole to no avail. @ana left to search the neighbourhood. We were really worried. He wouldn't come when we shook the treats box or anything. Finally I decided to holler "dinnertime!"
0.3 seconds later Gus comes out from hiding ready to feast. I didn't give him a second dinner but he did get a churu for showing up. Phewf.
At least we know where he goes when he's really scared now.
It's sometimes hard to capture Gus' personality in photos, but this one from when he was a kitten gets pretty close.
Not quite #caturday #catsOfFedi #GusTheCat
It's Saturday, and Gus says "say no to drugs".
One does not simply own black fleece pants in a household with a Siberian cat. These are my backyard pants, where no one needs know about my inner Yeti.
When not spread eagled on his back, or going Superman, this is probably Gus' next most common pose. Chillin' aka Gus-spreading.
He rests in the window watching the snow fall, ignorant to the fact that his arch nemesis walked past said window not more than 3 minutes ago.
Gus hopes you are feeling as good as he is, this fine Caturday.
Gus is having a moment tonight. The first bug of the season. Ten minutes of yowling about the little fly on the ceiling and it continues.
