I have a church friend whose wife is a naturalized American. She is from (presumably south)eastern Nigeria, but I cannot help but think of the many reasons why she and fellow Nigerians would immigrate to the US. One of these especially is security, and I wonder how life there would look if the citizens were trusted to defend themselves. It's probably better than a foreign intervention, American or otherwise.
