I'm bemused by the results of my guitar tone polls.

Only 30% record with a speaker and microphone, yet 53% create their guitar tone using a valve amp - the main benefit of which depends on using a speaker...

Likewise 33% create their guitar tone digitally, but 50% record using digital simulation tech, which is a flat out contradiction only explainable by different people answering the two polls.

I'm not sure I learned much about what people actually do, but it's nice to know that valve amps are still popular, even if recording with speakers are not so much.
