L'UnitĂ : Famiglia distrutta, ladri in fuga provocano incidente nellâinseguimento: morti padre, madre e figlio
Distrutta una famiglia in un incidente stradale a Roma: padre, madre e figlio morti nellâimpatto causato da unâaltra automobile che fuggiva in un inseguimento scattato dopo il rifiuto a fermarsi allâalt di una pattuglia della Polizia. La corsa è culminata nello scontro quanto lâauto in fuga ad alta velocitĂ ha invaso lâaltra corsia e si è schiantata contro la vettura su cui viaggiava la famiglia. Allâinterno dellâauto tre uomini, tutti di origini sudamericane, arrestati per omicidio stradale.
La fuga era scattata al Quarticciolo ed è terminata in via Collatina. Il conducente avrebbe ignorato lâordine degli agenti e avrebbe continuato la sua corsa. Alla macchina della Polizia, nellâinseguimento, si è aggiunta unâaltra vettura dei Carabinieri. In via Collatina lâauto in fuga ha invaso il senso di marcia opposto e si è scontrata con lâauto su cui viaggiava la famiglia. Sul posto sono intervenuti i Vigili del Fuoco, i sanitari del 118, diverse pattuglie della Polizia Locale di Roma Capitale dei Gruppi VI Torri, V Casilino e VII Tuscolano.
Lâimpatto è stato violentissimo: due delle vittime sono morte sul colpo, unâaltra poco dopo. Avevano 70 e 64 anni i genitori, 41 anni il figlio. La famiglia era residente a Guidonia. Nessuna grave conseguenza per i tre uomini in fuga, tutti di nazionalitĂ sudamericana. Due in ospedale, al Policlinico Tor Vergata e al Sandro Pertini, un altro è stato fermato. Arrestati con le accuse di omicidio stradale, resistenza a pubblico ufficiale, violazione degli obblighi verso funzionari, ufficiali e agenti, e porto di oggetti atti allo scasso. Allâinterno dellâabitacolo sono stati infatti trovati e sequestrati cacciaviti e jammer.
Le indagini sulla dinamica dellâincidente sono tuttora in fase di svolgimento da parte del VI Gruppo Torri della Polizia Locale.

A family was killed in a road accident in Rome: the father, mother, and son died in the impact caused by another car that fled after a police chase following its refusal to stop at a checkpoint. The chase culminated in the crash when the fleeing car, traveling at high speed, entered the other lane and collided with the vehicle carrying the family. The chase began at Quarticciolo and ended on Via Collatina. The driver ignored the order of the officers and continued his escape. A second car from the Carabinieri was added to the Police chase. On Via Collatina, the fleeing car entered the opposite lane and collided with the car carrying the family. Firefighters, 118 paramedics, and several patrols from the Rome Capitale Local Police of the VI Torri, V Casilino, and VII Tuscolano groups were on the scene.
The impact was extremely violent: two of the victims died instantly, and the third died shortly after. The parents were 70 and 64 years old, and their son was 41. The family lived in Guidonia. The three fleeing men sustained no serious injuries, all of South American nationality. Two are in hospital, at the Tor Vergata Policlinico and the Sandro Pertini, and the third was apprehended. The men were arrested on charges of causing a fatal road accident, resisting a public official, violating obligations towards officials, officers, and police officers, and carrying prohibited items. Screwdrivers and jammers were found and seized inside the vehicle.
Investigations into the accidentâs dynamics are still ongoing by the VI Torri Police Group.
