A Chinese whistleblower fled to the U.S. with footage of detention camps and requested asylum, only to be arrested by ICE agents and face deportation to Uganda. Now, five years after his saga began, his asylum claim has been granted.

We are greatly relieved to learn that the US government has dropped its plan to #deport Guan Heng, a #hero who took great risks to film concentration camps in which Uyghurs were imprisoned. Fearing that the Chinese Communist Party (#CCP) would persecute him for releasing his video, he fled to the US and applied for #asylum. We hope he will receive it soon.
