I'd forgotten that comment from profetik-777 who complains I repeated what the introducer said. profetik-777 has never given a high-stakes keynote talk! You *practice* ahead of time. Going off script can mess you up. Also, you're so nervous you don't even listen to your introduction.
Haters denigrate online b/c humans, no matter how good at dismissing it, feel the pain at least a little.

We are seeking talks on a variety of topics, including but not limited to:
- Application development
- Privacy and security
- Community and team building
- Design of user and developer experience
- Use of GNOME technologies outside the desktop
- Newcomers initiatives
- Project planning and governance
We will be accepting both remote and in-person presentation submissions.
@vkc Ohβ¦myβ¦gosh. I've never liked GNOME (or KDE). But so π€¬ what? My spouse, who is not a programmer, has enjoyed every version of GNOME since 1999 & a Linux-based system has been her primary desktop for decades.
I'm vaguely aware that *yet again*; like some kind of clockwork, the world wants to π©-post about #GNOME for the 2βΏ-th time.
I gave this #GUADEC keynote 10 years ago directed at these haters; I'm sad it's still relevant,though.
