Tropicals grow excellent in Missouri. This banana tree has been in the ground now going on 6 years. It does need to be close to the foundation, trimmed all the way back and mulched in with about 1' of mulch because we do get a deep Freeze. It will eventually be about 20' tall. Up over the gutters. #growprettyshit #gardensinthecity
