This afternoon, I'm sowing more seeds.
Most of the seeds sowed will be for my 3&3 annual system (keep 1/3, sell 1/3, give away 1/3).
Some seeds sowed today will be to help 4 local BIPOC families with limited space to have their own first mini food gardens. I'm making a few mixed food planters for them & providing a simple care guide. I'm planting easy care food plants to help them gain more confidence in growing their own food. This is part of my ongoing community sharing & quieter acts of resistance against capitalism 💚✌️💚👩🌾

I had only 6 #watermelon #seeds left. Sowed them all into 2 pots. I'll be happy if any of them sprout & provide me with some small watermelons this Summer. I've successfully grown some melons here before but am still not too great at it. I keep trying to improve my melon growing here. I do better with cantaloupe.
