Working on a painting for my mother in law’s birthday. It’s Saturday so this is a total CRUNCH time project. I should have started on this sooner. Paintings take so much thought and agonizing for me. Hoping doing some preplanning will help the later stages. I did some sketch work first to come up with a basic idea of the painting. I’m going to paint a female and male cardinal. My MIL loves cardinals. I need to work on the male now, it’s not as exciting. He’s so boring, all red. I love the female cardinal. She’s so pretty with all her many pretty colors.
