It's welcomed that Farage has sacked his housing chief because of the Grenfell remarks.

It's worth noting though, that to date, the only people to face any consequences regarding Grenfell Tower have been those who have joked or been disparaging about it.

Looks as if #HongKong has suffered its own #GrenfellTower moment with the inferno at #WangFukCourt.
Gut-wrenching to see multiple 30+ storey risers ablaze like that. The count of 55 victims is likely to go up further - by quite a lot as hundreds are still reported missing.
My thoughts are with those affected by this #fire.

So sagte Lord Pickels einleitend, er habe sich Zeit für diesen Termin freimachen müssen und noch viele wichtige Termine im Anschluss, daher solle man seine Zeit gut nutzen („ask wisely“). Später sagte er, mit fast tränenerstickter Stimme, aber eben tränenlos, er sei tief betroffen über diesen Vorfall als Christ, der er doch sei, über die 96 (!) namenlosen (!) Opfer des Brandes. Es waren natürlich 72 und sie waren in der Tat namentlich bekannt.
