Me desperté un día
y supe que ya no era el mismo.
No por el cuerpo extraño
que encontré al abrir los ojos,
sino porque el mundo
me miraba distinto.

Antes era útil:
madrugaba,
viajaba en tren,
vendía telas.
No era feliz,
pero al menos servía.
Ahora soy… esto.

Lo más duro
no es la forma que tengo,
ni las patas que no sé controlar.
Lo más duro
es que nadie pregunta
si sigo siendo yo.

Mi madre llora,
mi padre me aparta con violencia,
mi hermana me alimenta
como si fuera un animal.
Nadie dice “Gregor”,
solo “eso”.

A veces pienso
que la transformación
no fue un castigo,
sino una revelación.
Tal vez siempre fui invisible,
y ahora el mundo lo ve.

Tal vez mi cuerpo solo muestra
lo que ya era:
alguien que no encajaba,
alguien que sobraba.

Pero sigo aquí.
Sigo sintiendo,
sigo pensando,
sigo amando en silencio.

Soy Gregor Samsa,
aunque nadie lo crea.
Y aunque me escondan
tras una puerta cerrada,
mi voz aún existe.

Kafkas Erzählung „Die Verwandlung“ erzeugte eine unbändige Lust, ein Diorama dazu zu bauen. Hier die Szene am Morgen nach der Verwandlung des Handlungsreisenden Gregor Samsa in ein Riesen-Insekt. Alle Teile sind realisiert aus Resten und Dingen, die ich noch hatte.
