Hoy traigo este perrete de resina de #GreenStuffWorld, parte de un pack de 10 perros imprimidos en 3D. Este es un pastor alemán. Nunca había pintado perros, me ha gustado y estoy bastante contento con el resultado.

Secret hobby project finished. She does not follow me, so it is safe to post. Picked up a 3d printed plague doctor dice tower for my youngest for a present. I could not bring myself to leave it just black resin. I used a combination of paints: #speedpaints for wood, leather, gloves and lantern panes, conventional for the rest. #GreenStuffWorld color shift for the lenses. I do still need to varnish, but I am pretty satisfied with how it came together. #miniaturepainting

The doctor will see you now. One of my daughters loves plague doctors, and they designed the paint scheme. I used a #slapchop technique with #thearmypainter #speedpaint for most. Interesting to see how Grim Black goes on things. Also used noble skin at my kid’s direction for the leathers. Used red goblin from #GreenStuffWorld for eyes and syringes, and #vallejo white for mask. Metal bits are #privateerpress cold steel. With all the black, I thought a snow base would be a nice contrast.

Later than normal post today because I got sucked into painting for the first time in... a while. Tried a different brush than my usual #2 Kolinsky from #GreenStuffWorld and it was so much easier to paint things I normally struggled with using my usual brush.

Poor craftsperson blames her tools, etc. but I honestly think I'm going to make better work with this secondhand brush.
