I got my first anonymous AIDS test there. Scary because a positive test could indicate as little as weeks left to live. It happened to many of my friends.
When I went back for the results, I was asked what I would do if they were positive. I said I would deal with it somehow.
I got good news.
I thought the Greensboro Coliseum's original look dating back to 1959 was the nicest one. I can't remember it back to that year, but by 1965, I would have a memory of it.
Curved roof, lot of blue on it. Looked great.
Now it looks as attractive as McDonald's current sterile depressing look.
Round it out with the new bank name it was given, nasty.
"First Horizon Coliseum" still pisses me off.
Same for that little baseball thing downtown.

When I was in grade school, one of the field trips was to a cigarette production facility. Free samples were not given to students. 😁
It wasn't the Lorillard plant on E Market like one would expect. It was on W Market behind what was then a King's Department Store (now a Food Lion).
With the city/county possibly going to "enjoy" a giant tax increase, maybe the extra money could be used to double the size of the Tanger. Or we could have two!
Knock down that Carolina and another one could just about fit there.

Some of the plants I service as a contractor have put up similar plus more signage for what is employee only.
It can all be overrun in a stampede. The hope in that case is to have some recourse later.
I've also heard that an employer and employees are not required to state whether a wanted person is at work that day. I am not a lawyer.
