Wasn't there last night, but love the #shows #StGeorge's #GreatYarmouth put on.
Saw #VoodooRoom, could so easily have been called White Chile, a few weeks back. As the advertising said:
‘NOT a dress up, wig wearing, look-alike tribute band – JUST GREAT MUSICIANS PLAYING GREAT MUSIC – STUNNING!’ Time Out.
I concur! Definitely not #notefornote record #copyists either, but guys who played the material their way. Wonderfully approachable people too, who mixed with the #audience in the interval. Really enjoyed my chat with the bass player.
Dare I confess to attending the pantomime St George's put on in January, too! One of the best I've witnessed since those I used to go to in #Kenilworth in the early 2010s.
AnotherVU #GreatYarmouth tonight
I don't like tribute bands. Tribute bands are bad and wicked and will mess you up. Then again, that's true of a lot of things the Velvet Underground sang about and you've got to live a little; brilliant to hear those songs played live on close to original kit
We're getting closer and closer to SFW in March and I can't blooming wait, it's an event that I look forward to every year.
I'll be shooting the red carpet and awards again this year and much more. If you're going, say "Hi" when you see me there.
