Mushrooms at Great Basin
I was hiking the Timber Creek trail out at Great Basin National Park when I came across this colony of mushrooms.
I must admit that I know next to nothing in regards to mushroom species so I am unable to identify these.
What I do know is that I was quite fascinated by them. They seem to have an abstract quality to them.

We visited Great Basin National Park in late July and there was still runoff and flooding on the trails. But beautiful hiking trails were still navigable.
