Partially Decapitated 40-Foot #Whale Washes Ashore in #LA

A 40-foot #graywhale carcass was found at #DockweilerBeach with bite marks from either sharks or #Orcas.

We had a Gray Whale come within 15 ft. of our boat (engine off, drifting).

This photo shows it just after a "blow" - that's the fine mist of what he/she spouted.
