Ça fait un moment que je veux migrer mon site de ressources #fle sur autre chose que Blogspot et du coup je veux reprendre un hébergeur et un nom de domaine. J’ai décidé de pas utiliser l’usine à gaz qu’est WordPress et d’utiliser un #cms plus « simple » : mon choix s’est porté sur #grav et donc je galère à configurer PHP en localhost

Pourquoi faire simple quand on peut faire compliqué. Pour l’instant c’est juste ajouter des dll et modifier le fichier ini.
Je me connais je suis capable de changer d’avis… si vous connaissez des CMS light pour du #blogging avec un flow de publication simple (genre en #markdown ) je veux bien des recos.

I'm currently helping a friend with a website. Together with them I decided against

WordPress: just too complex to use
Hugo: They need to be able to make changes and are in no way technically inclined
Joomla: Okay that one I decided against, I just never got the hang of it

I took some inspiration from @netzhexe and tried Grav for the first time. It's main feature is storing texts as Markdown but it has an admin interface (as optional but well supported plugin) that lets a user change texts. All is powered by some pretty clever templating with Twig.

Now I'm trying to develop my first theme. My first attempt was a hot mess because I tried to inherit a theme which was developed with the "help" of LLMs. Starting with a clean slate makes much more sense and is actually pretty easy.

For now I'm happy, maybe I can showcase something soon.

I'd like to set up a personal silly #website/#blog, with an Atom+RSS feed and #webmentions (partly so I can bridge it to both fedi and atproto with the help of bridgy); I'm considering both #Hugo and #Grav. Thoughts?

Ideally I'd like to have multiple "channels" to post to.

Estoy empezando a migrar el #Blog para dejar de usar #Ghost para usar #Grav consumiendo muchos menos recursos y usando menos herramientas que no uso en ghost y están de gusto. Es una tarea ardua pero va a salir.

Så jeg roder lidt rundt med #grav - det har nogle ting jeg virkelig godt kan lide:
- filer kan være markdown-filer med et "yaml front matter"
- generer filer som nødvendigt, og cacher dem.

Temasystemet er komplekst synes jeg, så der er en relativt stejl indlæringskurve der, men det ser i øvrigt ud til at virke godt.

Btw I went a bit quiet bc I built a mini RSS reader in Grav (with Twigfeeds plugin testing/dev) and am busy reading excellent sources of fine quality content. Some of my feeds are mastodon rss. I love RSS.
