Teaching in a Digital Age: Third Edition - General

The book examines the underlying principles that guide effective teaching in an age when all of us, and in particular the students we are teaching, are using technology. A framework for making decisions about your teaching is provided, while understanding that every subject is different, and every instructor has something unique and special to bring to their teaching. The book enables teachers and instructors to help students develop the knowledge and skills they will need in a digital age: not so much the IT skills, but the thinking and attitudes to learning that will bring them success. Book release date (third edition): 18 August, 2022. For subsequent updates, see Updates and Revisions in the front matter of the book.

Teaching in a Digital Age: Third Edition - General

@Dany

A question comes to mind first...

Does the simplicity you want also extend out to where you host it and what underlying tech is needed?

You can absolutely go straight-up static text or HTML, with a touch of CSS, and even a bit of jscript if needed - and place it in a shared hosting environment without having to go the VPS route.

#WonderCMS, #Grav, #Bludit, #PluXml, and loads of others can give you full control in _one_ managed webspace, with little effort.

Last afternoon sneak peek at multi-publication support coming to the Grav Helios Open Reader 🚀

Host multiple open publications from a single Grav install - each with its own home page, sections, authors, and Save My Place navigation. No database, no build pipeline, just flat-file simplicity with Git Sync support.

Grav Helios Open Reader | Open Education Essentials

Okie so revisiting the whole site thing. Need to move away from the super clunky and def designed for techies Mediawiki into something less diff.

Requires:
- Multi users (I want help lol)
- Markdown (Non techie writers stuffs)
- Easy to mod themes w CSS ( I learned!)
- MFA (pls)
- I dunno, maybe some other cool stuffs?

I like flat file stuffs BC I can just back it up easy so that is preferred tbh. But I dunno a lot so I might be being stupid?

Looking at:
