Sloth Racket are ten years old.

We were brought together by @cathrobots in 2015 to perform a brand new set of material in Newcastle for Jazz North East at the Gateshead International Jazz Festival. Needless to say, we had a marvellous time and have continued to play together ever since.

Next week it's the public end of year concert by City University Experimental Ensemble, which I've been leading this year. 19:00-20:00 on Wednesday 10th April in the Performance Space at City, University of London and it's free to attend:

Just revisiting this #SlothRacket release from a few years back. Pretty pleased with the sound we got from the #Live #Recording, using just the Zoom H5 plus a CAD Audio m179 on the double bass and an e906 on the guitar amp. Largely thanks to the great sounding room, and the ever-excellent ears of Alex Bonney in mixing and mastering. And of course @cathrobots' brilliant compositions.
