I have to applaud #NVIDIA for pushing #DLSS and #RayTracing to the mainstream after 6 years.

Then, these technologies divided early-adopters with the mainstream. Today, these divide gamers between non-gamers.

#NVIDIA keynote on CES 2025 was an all-arounder.

Started strong with their RTX 5000. Project Digits. NVIDIA Cosmos. It seems the company has offerings for all computing power levels, and use cases.

Apart from RTX 5000, no prices or release dates on most of their product and services. Their marketing department is good creating hype trains.

Again, RTX 4090 performance for $549 would be "big if true".

No benchmarks, but if that is 100% true, then it would crash the whole GPU market.

I don't believe it will happen as performance will be only reachable with DLSS 4. But if it's the same, then it will sell like hotcakes.

Would I preorder? Yes. And return if it's not what NVIDIA promised.
