This just happened. I went to the kitchen to get a snack. I came back to my desk and ate my granola bar.
When I'm done, I look down, and I see a banana.
We're in the afternoon... did I not eat my morning banana? Or did I just absent-mindedly grab a banana with my granola bar? I bring the banana back to the kitchen, and realize that I did indeed grab a banana absent-mindedly, thinking for a second that it was morning.
