I was recently playing around with a #GrandSeiko SBGA407 aka Skyflake. Great watch with a beautiful blue dial and 9R65 Spring Drive. Unfortunately I had to pass on the deal. #GrandSeiko announced a lot of stuff for #WatchesAndWonders2026. The biggest takeaway is that people expected smaller dive #watches using Spring Drive UFA movements and they delivered exactly that. SLGB023 and 025 aka Ushio 300 feature 40mm titanium case, caliber 9RB1 which is basically a 9RB2 with power reserve complication on the front, titanium bracelet with on the fly micro-adjust and diver extension. Only issue is price puts them in direct competition with the Submariner. #watchesofmastodon
