BillSaysThisUp in Waikoloa to see #TheMarvels, first time in a theater since #GotG3 and it’s nearly empty. Fancy but non-reclining seats which, for almost $20/ticket, seems sad. Hoping the movie lives up to my hopes 🤙

Averse to superhero movie gigantomania and the MCU in particular, the Guardians series is an entertaining blessing for me. Maybe it's because the characters are already created in such a way that they don't take themselves too seriously, or because there's an incredible amount of good music to listen to.

ChunkThis has to be one of my favourites I have made. Really enjoyed #gotg3 and recently picked up a Lego Groot on sale, that came withg a super awesome cassette to build.
The single most powerful scene in Guardians of the Galaxy 3:
The searing, white hot anguish of incomprehensible, unrelenting pain.

🏳️🌈𝑛𝑛𝑧🏳️⚧️@hermann4000 Ja, #GotG3 war mutlose Stangenware mit einem niedlichen Eichhörnchen (oder so). Solche Filme gehen eben kein Risiko ein, weil es um viel Geld geht. Die MCU-Sachen sind alle US-Norm, also Kriegsfilme oder Buddyfilme und in ihrer Einförmigkeit und Einfältigkeit Körperverletzung. Und mit dem ganzen #Multiverse-Quatsch, oder eben so albernen Figuren wie im Guardian-Franchise irgendwo im Weltall, zunehmend auch nichtmal mehr unterhaltsamer Sondermüll. Also nix für uns mehr.
StrypeyI'm done with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I followed it loyally since the first Iron Man, but Guardians of the Galaxy 3 was the last hurrah for me. I loved it and I want to leave the MCU with a good taste in my mouth.
You see, following the continuity any further will force me to watch Quantumania, and I'm just not going to do it. The Eternals was bad enough. Those wankers are never getting to abuse my eyeballs or intelligence again.
